What is deconditioning?

In Human Design, deconditioning is the process of letting go of everything that has pulled you away from your natural self — the thoughts, patterns, and identities that were never truly yours.
It’s not about becoming someone new, but about remembering who you were born to be beneath the conditioning.

During the retreat, you’ll have the time, tools, and support to peel back those layers in a safe and nurturing space — so you can begin to reconnect with yourself and create a life you love, personally and professionally.

  • You know you’re stuck but need help to fully release what’s holding you back.

  • You recognise that having personalised support in a focused environment with no other distractions is the perfect way to decondition.

  • You’re ready to let go of old stories and unhealthy habits.

  • You want to reconnect with your beauty and power within.

  • You’re seeking clarity and confidence about your next steps.

  • You crave space, stillness, and connection to reset and realign.

This retreat is not for people who:

  • want only leisure travel

  • are not open to inner reflection

  • expect quick fixes instead of deep self exploration

This Retreat is for you if:

A woman sitting cross-legged outdoors with her eyes closed, hands on her chest, appearing to meditate or practice mindfulness, surrounded by greenery.
A woman meditating in a kneeling yoga pose on a large rock in front of a waterfall surrounded by lush green foliage in a tropical jungle.

The Deconditioning Retreat is a deeply restorative and transformational experience designed to help you release what no longer serves you and step into your personal power.

This retreat is for anyone ready to step out of old patterns, quiet the noise of the world, and reconnect with themselves in a supportive space with a small group of others.

This isn’t all serious though. We’ll have lots of laughs, joy-filled activities and ensure you leave feeling light, fulfilled and ready for whatever life has in store.

What You’ll Experience at the Retreat

Each day is intentionally designed to move you through the phases of self-discovery, release and reconnection. Your experience will include:

  • Guided Human Design workshops to explore your areas of vulnerability and where conditioning feels stuck.

  • Somatic release and embodiment sessions to help the body let go of stored tension and emotional residue.

  • Restorative activities such as sound healing and massage to calm the nervous system and restore balance.

  • Self-inquiry, journaling, and reflection to bring awareness to your patterns and insights.

  • Nature time and ceremony to reconnect you to your natural rhythm and sense of belonging.

  • Integration circles to help you anchor new awareness and inner clarity.

  • Excursions to the spiritual heart of Ubud such as a water blessing ceremony, pyramids of chi & cultural immersion.

  • Joy-filled activities to reconnect with your inner bliss & encourage fun and laughter.

Reflections from people who’ve experienced my work

The reflections here are from people who have experienced my work in various settings — programs, sessions and facilitated spaces, and speak to what it is like to be held, guided, and supported within my work.

I found the experience to be grounding, nurturing and informative. I feel more at peace within myself, my energy and with my experiences. I'm looking forward to working in alignment with my energy, rather than trying to squeeze myself into some other idea of me that will never work!! Thank you Amber.

~ Lauren Calvert

I felt warmly welcomed and supported. Amber is not only an incredibly experienced teacher, but also brings a rare warmth and authenticity that makes learning with her truly special. Her deep knowledge of Human Design shines through and her passion and humour is contagious. Thank you, Amber, for such an exceptional experience.

~ Sara Pryor

Amber brings so much knowledge, wisdom and empathy that is magnified from her own life experience. She attracted the most extraordinarily wonderful group, which is a reflection in itself, where we all felt seen for our unique gifts and heard. It was just a thoroughly enjoyable, healing, insightful and life changing journey.

~ Clare Rose

Meet your guide - Amber Clements

Human Design Teacher, Guide & Confidante

Amber Clements is an internationally recognised Human Design teacher and guide, known for her warm, grounded, and deeply intuitive approach to transformation. As the founder of the Australian College of Human Design, she has guided hundreds of students and clients through the journey of understanding and embodying their unique design over the past 7 years.

Amber’s work goes far beyond theory — she is passionate about helping people take Human Design off the page and into real life. Her teaching style blends clarity, compassion, and practical wisdom, creating a space where people feel seen, safe, and supported to explore who they truly are.

Her Philosophy

Amber believes that deconditioning is the path home — a journey of releasing everything you’ve been told you “should” be, so you can finally live in alignment with your design.

Her retreats and programs are designed to help you reconnect with your inner authority, trust yourself, and create a life that feels authentic, purposeful, and deeply fulfilling.

With Amber’s guidance, you’ll explore how your unique design expresses itself in your body, emotions, relationships, and purpose — and how to gently unwind the patterns that have kept you out of alignment.

Her Approach

What makes Amber’s work so powerful is her ability to blend:

  • Deep Human Design knowledge with practical embodiment and self-awareness tools

  • Gentle but transformative facilitation, guiding you through self-discovery at your own pace

  • A grounded presence, making even profound shifts feel natural, supportive, and real

She weaves Human Design insights with intuitive guidance, reflection practices, & somatic awareness — allowing transformation to happen from the inside out.

As well as being a professional coach, Amber has travelled to over 60 countries (mostly alone) and worked across three continents. Her work as a tour leader for The Imaginative Traveller, taking small intrepid tours through South East Asia, gave her the skills to ensure you are in safe and very experienced hands as far as travel goes too.

“This retreat is a sacred pause — a chance to step out of old conditioning and reconnect with the essence of who you are. My intention is to hold a space where you can feel safe to let go, supported to be yourself, and inspired about what’s next.

This is your time to reclaim your light and confidently step into your future.
