Retreat Terms and Conditions

We strive to create an intimate community atmosphere during your stay, and we only accommodate a limited number of guests. The following guidelines help to ensure Amber Clements’ Retreats run smoothly.

Terms and Conditions

This Retreat Participation Terms and Conditions (the “Agreement”) provides for the conditions of participation in The Deconditioning Retreat offered by Amber Clements and is a legally binding document between you (the “Participant”) and Amber Clements ABN 58 629 532 372 (the “Retreat Organiser”) upon the payment of the Deposit by you. Please read this Agreement carefully and address any questions you may have to hello@amberclements.com

By paying your Deposit, you agree to the following terms:

1. Payment, Cancellation & Refund Policy

Significant levels of planning, preparation and collaboration have occurred in planning the Retreat. Therefore, there is a strict refund policy.

  • Your $500 deposit paid to secure your spot is non-refundable. Any other payments made are refundable up until March 01, 2026.

  • If you cancel, a $60 administration fee applies to any partial refunds.

  • In case of a personal emergency, partial refunds may be considered at the Retreat Organisers’ discretion.

  • Should a payment be more than 7 days late, the Retreat Organiser has the right to cancel your booking.

  • Should you choose to pay via a Payment Plan option, and request cancellation before all payments have been made, you will still be required to pay the full amount of the package if you don’t cancel before March 01, 2026..

Refunds will not be available in the following circumstances:

  • From March 01, 2026 until 30 days before the retreat no refunds will be issued. If you wish to cancel within this time, you may propose a replacement attendee (subject to approval). The replacement must pay in full at transfer; the admin fee may be waived if approved.

  • Within 30 days prior to the retreat - all payments are non-refundable

  • No refunds are issued for change-of-mind cancellations.

2. Health & Visa Requirements

  • We cannot guarantee allergen-free meals; attendees must bring their own medications and manage dietary needs.

  • Ensure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your arrival in Bali.

  • Visas, are your responsibility—apply online at least 72 hours before travel. We will send you details about Visa application to assist this process.

3. Travel & Cancellation Insurance

To join the retreat, you are required to have travel insurance. A good policy should at least cover:

  • Emergency medical care and evacuation

  • Trip cancellation, interruption, or delays

  • Lost or stolen luggage or personal items

  • Natural disasters or bail emergencies

  • Any relevant sport activities you intend to take such as motorbike rides

  • Medical evacuation alone can exceed $100k in costs, making coverage vital.

4. Liability Disclaimer

  • The Retreat Organiser is not liable for any travel delays, cancellations, or personal expenses due to unforeseen events.

  • Participants must have travel insurance for medical emergencies or unexpected disruptions.

  • You agree that you are solely responsible for the safekeeping and care of your personal items and valuables.

  • By making this purchase, you agree to these terms and hereby release the Retreat Organiser, all retreat facilitators and their representatives from any and all responsibility or liability for any injury, illness, loss, or damage before, during, or after the retreat.

5. Third-party service providers

  • You acknowledge that the Retreat Organiser contracts with a range of third parties and individuals to assist in the running of the Retreat.To the best of the Retreat Organiser’s knowledge, these third parties are qualified to perform the duties they are contracted to perform.'

  • You agree that the Retreat Organiser will not be held liable for injury, damage, loss, delay or irregularity or anything that may occur due to the behaviour of these third parties. Any advice or information given is given in good faith, but the Retreat Organiser will not be held liable for any outcome resulting from such advice.

  • You acknowledge that any eventuality of the same risks is not grounds for refund or discount.

6. Force Majeure events (events outside our control)

  • A Force Majeure event is an event outside our control that delays or hinders the Retreat Organisers ability to perform its obligations under this Agreement.

  • The Retreat Organiser shall not be liable for any failure to perform their obligations due to events beyond their control, including but not limited to acts of nature, government actions, pandemics (such as COVID-19), or other unforeseeable circumstances.

  • Upon the occurrence of any Force Majeure Event, the Retreat Organiser shall give notice to Participants of their inability to perform or of delay in delivering and completing the Retreat and shall propose revisions to the Retreat schedule for completion of the services or termination services and this Agreement where it is determined that performance is not possible because of the duration of effect of the Force Majeure event.

7. Media Release

  • By making this purchase, you understand that you are attending an event where photography, audio, and video recording may occur.

  • Your entry and presence on the retreat premises constitutes your consent to be photographed, filmed, and/or otherwise recorded and you consent to the use of your voice, image, and likeness without compensation in film, videotape, photography, and/or sound recording of this event and for marketing and promotional purposes, and you agree to release the Retreat Organiser, retreat facilitators and representatives from any liability on account of such use.

By paying your deposit, YOU, the participant, affirm you have read and understood this Retreat Participation Agreement and voluntarily agree to these terms.
